Make it Comfortable, Make it Stylish, Make it Home
For many, gone are the days of china cabinets. Whether you have down sized in retirement, live in a home too small for such luxuries as specialty cabinets, or see them as a thing of the past, plenty of people go without. But, that does not mean that we don’t have china that is expensive, and or has a sentimental quality about it.
So how do you protect it without having an entire cabinet allocated to those serving plates, gravy boats, cups and saucers and plates? After using them, insert one of the following in between to create a nest for cups and a barrier between plates. These all work particularly well, and are worth the minor investment. These can be used for years without needing to be replaced, and if you break down the cost over those years, the expense is even more reasonable.
Put either a felt round, paper plate or basket coffee filter between your pieces of china. They will help keep them from scratches, cracks and nicks. Evaluate the proper size for those supplies prior to setting out to buy them, as they will only do what you want if they are a suitable size.
